General Rules for Posting Comments and/or Information
- The purpose of 123gogolf.com is to learn, share and enjoy the game of golf. All content must relate directly to the sport of golf.
- 123GoGolf.com looks forward to your opinions and information. Remember that it is a public forum and therefore comments are available right away.
- To facilitate the flow of information, posts can be categorized into those listed on the website. In general, the topics should help one learn the game of golf, share information about the game of golf, or enjoy the game of golf.
- To keep your identity and personal information safe and to keep from being added to a spam distribution list, it is recommended that you not include personally identifying information such as email addresses, phone numbers or addresses in your posts.
- Learning by teaching, offering advice or insights through written information or ‘Media” (still pictures or audio/video) is permitted.
- Information on equipment use, distinctions or modification and technical aspects is permitted. Written information and/or Media is not to be copied or hard copied from any manufacturer’s website(s) or other material such as a brochure or sales information. This prohibition applies to third party websites and/or material as well.
- Images of golf courses and other places of golf are permitted if they are displayed for the purpose of highlighting the outdoor enjoyment and beauty of the surroundings. If you want to identify a particular hole or course, you must be the owner of the image and have permission from the course to do so.
- Comments on golf related news and information may be made.
- Some of this information may be controversial, but that does not mean it must be avoided. But everyone is expected to be polite and respectful, and accurate to accomplish this task.
- This website and its information is designed to build a kind and respectful group of users to enjoy the game of golf. It is okay to have a different opinion from someone else.
- But it is imperative to note the accuracy, as well as the tone and tenor of your posts.
- 123GoGolf.com reserves the right to edit, move, not publish or delete posts, at its sole discretion, that violates the letter and/or spirit of the rules. We reserve the right to remove an account at our sole discretion for any and/or repeated violation of the Terms of Use and/or Posting Rules. 123Gogolf.com reserves the right to change, edit and reorganize this site and information at its sole discretion.
So, please do not:
- Advertise. The 123gogolf.com site is not to be used for trading, swapping, selling or advertising products or services.
- Use any information or image that is copyrighted without the express written consent of the owner.
- Post messages that are deliberately hostile and/or insulting.
- Post replies if you don’t have any distinct value to add to the existing discussion, for example, ‘I’ve never been there I don’t know’.
- Post a topic in more than one category at a time.
- Post messages that cover more than one topic. For example, do not ask about ‘what’s a great putter to use’ and in the same post ask about a ‘good golf course to play’.
