Moving!

Well … we made the decision to move back to the states.  Cabo San Lucas has been a good home for us for two years. Why? Multiple reasons. Mostly a little bored – yes even with great weather. For us, limited places to go, limited things to do (other than golf or beach) and the always present language barrier. The locals were great – helpful and friendly. But there are culture differences that created some barriers e.g. not-a-can-do attitude even with the seemingly smallest of things at times.

Golf … interesting changes. With the passing of Covid, visitors have soared and along with it many opportunities for ‘locals’ to play resonalbly priced golf on a ‘reasonable’ course. This is ‘VacationLand’ – so it’s doesn’t seem to fit well with locals whose life/hobbies are not beach or water immersed. Check back later for my big picture review of courses I experienced while there.
